Purpose and Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern all locksmith services provided by Serrurerie01 to its customers, both individuals and businesses, in metropolitan France and Switzerland. Placing an order for any service implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Service Descriptions

Serrurerie01 provides the following locksmith services: door opening (locked out, key-locked, armoured doors), lock and cylinder replacement and installation, 24/7 emergency call-out, armoured door installation, premises security, key duplication, and access control system installation.

All interventions are performed by qualified locksmiths in compliance with applicable standards (A2P standard for high-security locks, where applicable).

Pricing and Quotations

Prices are provided for indicative purposes on the website. A detailed, free quotation is prepared before any intervention, except in emergencies where the customer is informed of the estimated cost by telephone before the technician is dispatched.

The quotation includes the cost of labour, parts, travel expenses, and applicable VAT. Prices may vary depending on the time of intervention (night, weekend, public holidays).

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the intervention, unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods include: credit/debit card, bank transfer, cheque, and cash (within the legal limit of EUR 1,000 for customers residing in France). Late payment penalties will be applied in accordance with Article L.441-10 of the French Commercial Code.

Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period and whose performance began with the prior express consent of the consumer.

For scheduled interventions, cancellation free of charge is possible at least 24 hours before the agreed appointment. Late cancellation may result in travel costs being charged.

Warranties

Parts supplied and installed by Serrurerie01 benefit from the statutory warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code). Labour is warranted for a period of 12 mois from the date of intervention.

Liability

Serrurerie01 is bound by an obligation of means in the performance of its services. Its liability shall not be engaged in cases of force majeure, fault of the customer, or fault of a third party. In any event, the liability of Serrurerie01 is limited to the amount of the service concerned.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the customer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator to which Serrurerie01 is affiliated, in accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the Consumer Code. These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts.
